Oldies & Classic Hits

Anybody aware of any station using Classic Hits and Oldies both in their station slogan or imaging? ???

Many of Tom Kent's affiliates use his service-marked term "Classic Top 40", which I.M.H.O. is very accurate and pretty understandable for the audience.

Thanks for the hot link. Station sounds good.

WTHZ-FM in Lexington (Greensboro-Winston Salem-Highpoint, NC) is sometimes billed as 'Classic Hits', but the format is Oldies. Straight 60s/70s. I believe Arbitron lists it as Classic Hits as well. Website: http://www.majic941.com

KABG 98.5 Albuquerque Plays 50's to 80's with Tom Kent at night. They recently droped oldies from their on air presentation yet it remains on their website. A lot of their numbers come from TK at night

Looks like they are going to lose their 50's early 60's listeners to 1600 am
which in the last month of the fall book was pulling close to 98.5 2.2 share for 1600 and 3 share for 98.5. Interesting to note 1600 am is only 10kw day
and 500watts at night while 98.5 is a 100kw blow torch.

A year from now KABG will more than likely drop all pre 65
