Old radio facility, Baytown

I was over in Baytown the other day and passed by KWWJ on the way out on Decker Drive. I know this was the original location for the studios and towers of KREL, 1360 (KWBA, KBUK) but was this the original building? It's been decades since I saw it and can't remember for sure. Anybody know or remember?

Decker/Loop 330 has been greatly widened, it's a multi-lane elevated expressway with frontage roads and lots of right-of-way. The building sits much closer to the road than it would have in 1947.

Yes, that's the same building. I went there a couple of times to drop off an aircheck. The last was in the summer of 1974; I saw Dick Sims, who was the PD. He ahd formally worked at KIKK in the late 1960s-early 1970s. It had become KBUK by the time I I walked in the doors.

Sixty-seven and a half years out of the same facility. Not many radio stations stay put in the same facility for that long.
