K Twin continues to stink up the ratings. With the morning show gone, can we see some changes by the end of summer? What format could take it's place?

Depends. The station is apparently for sale.

CBS could pick it up. That could lead to...
1. Sports on 96.3 with the Twins, Timberwolves (moving from WCCO) and CBS sports radio.
2. 104.1 goes sports and the "Jack" format moves to 96.3 (which is sort of a "Jack" now).
3. 96.3 simulcasts 830; Twins go home to WCCO (AM and FM!)

Hubbard could pick it up. That could lead to...
1. Sports moves from 1500 to 96.3 with the Twins; 1500 re-launches as talk, simulcasts, or semi-simulcast (and clears the rest of ESPN)
2. Sports moves from 1500 to 107.1 (same as above); lifestyle talk moves to 96,3

Is CBS looking to buy in MSP? I know they've been trying to get out of their non Top 10 markets, but MSP could be an exception.

This was certainly true 18-24 months ago, but there may be a different thought process with a new 24/7 network.

CBS certainly is putting thought and resources into some of these smaller markets (I think back to 92.3 in Cleveland going all-sports with lots of local hosts about a year ago).
