Liberal Talker Bill Press on "Sirius Left" 143 - Starting 6/27

This had been brought into the world via, well, me...as I asked him in an E-Mail myself...but it looks like Bill Press' morning talk show is finally going to air on Sirius's 143 "Left" channel, 6-9 AM ET weekdays. The launch date is scheduled for a week from Monday. I presume he'll replace Doug Stephan, who may very well air on another Sirius channel...

A message I posted, in part, on the News/Talk board:

--------

Since his launch earlier this month, liberal talk host Bill Press has been doing a show exclusively for new Akron, OH liberal talk station WARF "Radio Free Ohio". Right down to him mentioning the name of the station.

It looks like he finally has a launch date for the show's presence on Sirius Satellite Radio, and presumably, eventually, on other stations besides our local one:

The show will continue to air on WARF/1350 here, and they intend on selling the program in over-air syndication to other stations. Sirius appears to be the "home" for it, though.

About time. The allegedly "liberal" lineup on 143 was really looking thin...what with Alex "I don't like liberals any more than conservatives like liberals" Bennett, registered Republican Ed Schultz, and Hannity apologist Alan Colmes.

And this is all we're going to have left after Sirius drops AAR?
