Launa Lands At WJRR
June 29, 2005
By Bram Teitelman

Longtime active WXTB (98 Rock) Tampa, Fla., night host Launa exits the station to join modern WJRR (Real Rock 101.1) Orlando, Fla., morning team "The Fiasco." The show consists of PD Pat Lynch, Taco Bob, and producer CJ.

"Its high time Taco Bob, CJ and I got in touch with our feminine sides," Lynch says. "It hasn’t seemed to work with our wives! We welcome Launa to the Fiasco, she will be a great addition to the show. This is something we’ve wanted to do for a long time.”

Launa begins in Orlando on July 11.

Her last day on the air in Tampa is Friday July 1st...

I've had the pleasure of working with Launa at 98 from part time to full time to her hadling anything and everything we have asked her to do (I believe she has worked in every daypart on the station - her and Big Rig Ron Michaels hold that distinction). She is the consumate pro and is going to be a star in this medium. Pat and Taco (awesome guys and show!) will LOVE her! Launa has never "mailed in" a shift, and is always looking for ways to make the station better - doing what very few do - Station first! She will be missed! Launa, a toast of Jager to you in your continued success and career growth!

Mr. Oliviero speaks the truth.
Launa is a true professional. Lived and breathed her profession and never complained about working an off shift.
Pat and Taco are getting a hard working, talented person in Launa and she will be missed here at The Rock.
