KUDZU Radio

Is KUDZU radio a factor in the Memphis or Florence ratings. Seems to me there is a ton of money in that area for the right broadcaster or at least a broadcaster that is well trained and has enough sellers on the street. Does this station not have a sister station in the area?

Neither market as the station can't be heard in Memphis and not that well in Florence. It does show up in tupelo even though it doesn't cover the town that well. It's sister station is a class a in Ripley which doesn't reach either market but is a dx signal to tupelo also. It also shows in the tupelo ratings.

I'm not sure these guys could win in the market due to the competition and the lack of signal strength. Think they are Classic Country and Classic Hits. Good formats but it takes more than music to win in the big picture.

Appreciate the feedback. Are these stations in the right formats to win or at least to be competitive? Hard to win when you are on the outside looking in.
