KTLA's Emmitt Miller

It is official...Emmitt Miller takes the spot of the late Hal Fishman at KTLA

Yeah, that has been apparent for some time. And that's fine. Both are good news readers, both are effective eye candy. Neither has strong reporting skills.

But Emmett has another redeeming quality. Politeness. When Washington D.C. correspondent Grant Rampy does a throw back to Emmett, Emmett effusively thanks him. And so he should. It's lousy being stuck in Washington D.C. at 1 A.M. in the dead of winter doing a news report.

Emmett Miller was one of the first Newscasters for WOIO-TV 19 in Cleveland when they became that city's CBS affiliate in 1994-95. Based on what I've seen of him on KTLA morning news.. he would be a thousand percent better than just about anything CBS19 has now..
