I know, I know...There have been too many posts about this station already, but I was listening in the 7-8 o' clock hour at home and was rather suprised.
I copied this from yes.net, but also checked on mediabase...this in addition to hearing it.

The Buzz has been playing all of these "harder" songs for some months now, but they've been scattered and far between.
Don't know if anything's up, but seemed like an awfuly "heavy" playlist for what KTBZ has been trying to do the last 7 years.

Manson, Rage, White Zombie, Mudvayne, Metallica, System of a Down, Saliva, Limp Bizkit and Godsmack all in the same hour.

If they would consistantly do that it would be great, maybe you just caught them on a good hour. Also, ill get alot more excited if i hear "Sugar" from SOAD or any Zombie song besides More Human Than Human. The fact that they are even playing these bands is a step, maybe since their ratings slipped theyll make some changes and do it more.

Jantzen has tweaked the playlist. most of that is not played during the day.

I was out today listening to FM and the Buzz. I heard the same stuff from the past couple of years: old Green Day, old Weezer, 2 year old Incubus. But then I heard RCHP-Rollercoaster? and I'm looking at yes.net I see a few actual requests at lunch: Clash, old Gorillaz.

the question I have is where is Bloc Party, new Beck, or Spoon?

Listen to nocturnal emissions after Mandatory Metallica weeknights. I've heard all three of those bands. Beck's "Girl" was played a few times this week.
I've heard Spoon several times too.
 
I am glad you all are experimenting with the playlist. This is what many on the board have wanted for a while. Hopefully you will find success with this.
