KRVY stunting with X-mas music. KDJS launches Conservative Talk format.

KRVY 97.3 FM in Starbuck is currently stunting with Christmas Music under the branding "97.3 Happy Holidays." KRVY mainly serves Alexandria and most of Willmar. KDJS 1590 AM Willmar has also dropped Classic Country for Conservative Talk branded as "Fox News Radio 1590/105.7." KDJS [1590 AM], along with an FM translator at 105.7, mainly serve the Willmar area.

I guess KRVY is dumping the long-time satellite (Westwood One/Dial Global) AC format and going local? That's what they were airing forever. They'll keep the River moniker.

That's a bit of a misnomer since its already been 97.3 The River... it'll either be locally programmed as The River or a total format change
I have a feeling KRVY will go Classic Country.

What did KRVY originally air before AC.

Wikipedia says that KRVY held the callsign KAYF from 1997 to 2000. Anyone know what KRVY's format was under the "KAYF" callsign?
