Fri. 11/17/23 may indeed be the first appearance of the Knicks on WMTR as I couldn't find another notice from "Beasley Media NJ" on the WMTR site (or anywhere else Beasley-affiliated).

This is likely a sign that Good Karma Brands is already assembling a series of affiliates for the Knicks
(and I'd assume Rangers and Islanders as well) for when their lease ends in August 2024 for the 98.7 signal.

Harkens back to when WEPN 1050 was simulcast on Flemington's 1040 AM (WNJE at the time) from 2008-2012,
later simulcasting the ESPN Deportes format from May until December 2012.

Is that a wise move? NBA players and coaches have been known to swear during games. Using the delay could save WMTR a fine someday.

Probably cheaper to pay the fine than pay someone to listen for swearing and hit the dump button.
