Knicks on WMTR?

Fri. 11/17/23 may indeed be the first appearance of the Knicks on WMTR as I couldn't find another notice from "Beasley Media NJ" on the WMTR site (or anywhere else Beasley-affiliated).

This is likely a sign that Good Karma Brands is already assembling a series of affiliates for the Knicks
(and I'd assume Rangers and Islanders as well) for when their lease ends in August 2024 for the 98.7 signal.

Harkens back to when WEPN 1050 was simulcast on Flemington's 1040 AM (WNJE at the time) from 2008-2012,
later simulcasting the ESPN Deportes format from May until December 2012.

The New Jersey "Fox Sports Radio Network" expands as Beasley adds on 100.5 W263DA Toms River/100.1 WJRZ-HD3 Manahawkin and 95.9 WRAT-HD3 Point Pleasant.

Since it's a simulcast of 1450 WCTC, this also means the "Knicks/Rangers Network" also expands to the Jersey Shore.

It's NOT a simulcast of WCTC, just an identical format.

Beasley has not confirmed whether Rutgers or Knicks/Rangers will be on the Monmouth/Ocean station.

Sorry about that - I rechecked the stream today and realized what happened
(I got tricked as I'm not in the area and went only by the stream ID):
the new website address for https://www.foxsportsradiojerseyshore.com
redirects to the site
which is the home of WCTC-AM 1450 and W228DY at 93.5 MHz in New Brunswick,
which streams WCTC at the URLs below

According to a promo on WCTC's Rutgers basketball broadcast this afternoon, the shore operation will be carrying the Knicks and Rangers.

Beasley makes it official:

"Beasley Media New Jersey will air the games on 1250 WMTR (Morristown), 93.5 FM/1450 WCTC (New Brunswick), WRAT HD3 (Point Pleasant), WJRZ HD3 (Manahawkin) and on WJRZ’s translator in Toms River at 100.5 FM."
