With the release of his autobiography, Behind the Mic: 30 Years in Radio, Dave Pratt will be making several stops around the Valley in the next four weeks. The books should be available at all Phoenix Barnes & Noble stores, and the "Morning Mayor" intends on donating proceeds to the American Cancer Society.

It's a great gesture to donate proceeds. He's undeniably a Phoenix radio legend and has a lot of loyal fans.
 
...plus the Morning Mayor successfully transitioned from 98 K-YOUUU-PD to KMLE and is kickin' KNIX's butt. A tip of the fez from the Buckeye Boyz!
 
It's awesome that the book is for charity. :) I listened to Dave before making my enterance in radio...
When I heard the "Morning Mayor" I told myself I wanted to be in radio... 2 years later... Here I am.

There was nothing like hearing Scorps in the morning.

Dave's persona on and off the air always struck me as giving radio a good image...

Can't wait to get my copy... Dave???
