K233CF, licensed to Abilene but tower only about five miles out of downtown Salina. Predicted to deliver 73dBu (which is a city-grade signal) and listed in the FCC DB as carrying KINA.
Think they will keep the news/talk format or switch to a music format now that they are on FM. Salina doesn't have a local AC or Hot AC station so there are a couple of holes. Another possibility is a real Classic Rock station.
They won't switch from Fox. In terms of formats, 94.9 out of Concordia is still a Hot AC. Classic Rock would be a decent fit, but that's said and done on 3 frequencies. Of course, this is Kansas, and you can't air the formats like the big boys can.
