Not all of the jingles are old (they do have some new jingles in there), but some sound like either the same or spot-on recreations of Q105 jingles from the 1980s. I listened for awhile yesterday after work and heard both old and new alike. So far, so good for the "new" Q105 (and no, it's not being called new; this isn't a Cox station).<P ID="signature">______________

I like the format...hearing some real oldies I haven't heard on radio in years....I just wish they'd bring on a few more voices, either tracked or local...though I can't imagine any of the GUL jocks rocking out....

As someone who used to frequent Tampa Bay during the heyday of Q105....the one question bears asking...

mason dixon is so predictable that when the station he was working on took over the wrbq call letters anyone who knows him could tell it was only a matter of time before they dropped the oldies moniker and started milking the q105 name again. its really surprising he didnt try to bring the q back sooner.
