Issues with COX Cable

We have the Mini-Boxes from COX. It seems like every night during the overnight half the channels go out. Is it just a problem for customers who have the mini boxes or do people who have the full-size boxes have this problem too? It also seems to happen at random. For example one of the few channels that was actually working yesterday was TVLAND and I was watching The Nanny at 4:30AM. All of a sudden at 4:45AM TVLAND went down too. By 7AM all the channels were back up.

When the channels go down there will be an error message on the screen. "Content Unavailable. Sorry, there is currently no TV signal detected on this channel. The channel may be temporarily off air. Please try again later. If the problem continues, please contact Cox Customer Service at (866)-961-1207. Reference 3.1.2 when calling. Alternatively, you can press the GUIDE button on your remote control to watch programs on other channels."
 
Sounds more like you have a weak signal. Probably too many splits in the line.

My complaint with the mini boxes is that they are cropping widescreen content.
