In light of the news, have any stations dropped "Kokomo"?

how stupid

dropping Kokomo because of a missing girl in Arbuba? There's crimes everyday in the US - a lot worse crimes - and I have yet to hear about anyone dropping any "America" themed songs. Girl gets murdered in California...do we stop playing "California Girls".

Dumbest thoughts I've read in a long time.

Any respectable station dropped Kokomo from their playlist 15 years ago.

The entire this is even more humorous if you work at CC or know CC employees.
Yes, a PD sent out a list. CC didn't. As I understand it, the PD's have their own "group" as a mailing option, so it's possible the CC PD CC'd the thing (oh!!! a pun!!!) to that group.

Most Oldies and AC stations still play it TODAY, nimrod, because (here's a
shocker) radio listeners like the song a lot.
