iHeart Media/Atlanta will be relocating from its longtime home at 1819 Peachtree Road to The Works at Chattahoochee on Chattahoochee Avenue. The move is now expected to happen in early summer.
The Works at Chattahoochee consists of several repurposed warehouses and includes offices, retail and dining. Plans include the construction of apartments and a hotel. A number of businesses are open. I went by on a Saturday, and the place was really hopping.
The studios will be in big windows to the outside. Given how many hours the iHeart stations voice-track, I'm sure blinds that can be lowered are in the budget.
