Hubbard cuts come to Phoenix

Judging from the carnage at most other Hubbard clusters, if this is the only hit the Phoenix stations took I would have to assume the ghost of Chuck Artigue is still around running a pretty cheap ship. Clearly corporate doesn't think there are too many bloated salaries over there compared to places like Chicago and Seattle where each market saw over a dozen cuts.

Some of the nationwide cuts at Hubbard have sadly made their way to Phoenix. Per All Access, Russ Egan is out at 100.7 KSLX-FM where he was doing nights. Egan had been with KSLX since 2015. He was previously with 98.7 the Peak and was also the program director at “95.5 KYOT...The Coyote!”

Hopefully there are no further cuts at Phoenix area stations by Mother Hubbard.

Sorry to hear this. It looks like Nights With Alice Cooper (the 5-hour version) will be replacing Egan starting tonight (5/11) from 7:00 p.m. to midnight.
