Anyone with a receiver can tell us if they're getting any stations running anything in the HD-3s?? I mentioned down in a post that Beasley was playing with their HD-3s at WPOW and WKIS in Miami, as well as WRDW-FM and WXTU in Philly, and I believe I heard reports of CC doing same at WNUA in Chicago...Wondering if there was anyone in NYC doing this as well.

This is a good indication that many FM's will wind up using the HD3 stream for simulcasting sister AM stations.

Yes, that's what I was referring to about WPOW/96.5..they are simulcasting WQAM/560. Sister WKIS runs NOAA Weather Radio.

In Cincinnati Clear channel could put all 4 of its AM's on the 4 FM's HD-3 Signals. in Dayton they could wind up putting WONE on one of its FM's HD-3 but what would they do in Dayton for the other 3 FM's is the question.

in Cincy what will CBS Radio use for its HD-3 channels on FM since they dont have an AM in the market.

Actually the HD3 signal has the audio quality of AM. You would put the AMs on HD3 to increase coverage (is that is possible for WLW (!!!)) or to make it easier for people to get to the station.

The jury is still out on AM HD Radio. Is it going to fly or not?
