Completely agree, the three best, by far , of the year 2005. I would add the Decemberists Picaresque to this list as well.

The three above albums represent as close to rock masterpieces as it comes for this year.

Yeah the new David Gray is wonderful.

Also, check out Amos Lee's disk off Blue Note. Saw him on Austin City Limits a few months ago. It's a cool folky/blues record.
