Great; since O&A hate everybody else, they'll be great on stations that carry shows by their rivals, namely Leykis (who's on with DLR on KLLI/Dallas). Good move though, although it seems silly to do a sat and a terrestrial version. Finally, some life breathed into these east coast FreeFMs.

Confimed on Billboard!

This morning's (April 20th) "Street Talk" column on Radio and Records.com suggested Roth's last show would be next Wednesday (April 26th), the day that the first wave of complete Arbitron Winter quarter ratings books comes out.

Will the CBS/XM agreement agreement with Opie and Anthony begin ASAP, so Roth's show can be axed immediately??

Given that David Lee Roth was syndicated only on the East Coast, will Opie and Anthony replace Adam Carolla and Rover as the morning show on "Free FM" stations (or other stations that are carrying these shows) in other parts of the country??

If you actually read the Post article in the initial post of this thread, it disclosed that any such replacement was not known at this time. But if you think about it, Carolla's talent should not be underestimated, and Rover actually has some radio experience, which would mean Roth and only Roth would be the odd one out, in my view.<P ID="signature">______________

...the Free FMs are an interesting mix. In Chicago, Leykis' lead-in is Steve Dahl, who has dropped crap on Tom locally while Tom's first show on WCKG had him kiss every morsel of the surface of Dahl's thoroughly larded backside. That's a far cry from '99, when Leykis went on an hours-long rip of Dahl for pulling the ISDN line to their joint Detroit affiliate in mid-show, leaving more dead air than usual that afternoon...
