Colorado Public Radio layoffs

From radioinsight.com - Colorado Public Radio Cuts 15 Positions - RadioInsight

Commentary:
This appears to affect expansion into podcasting. It does not appear to have much effect on the news operation, though I see that CPR's local news site, Denverite, wasn't mentioned. The CPR news release also notes, "In addition, a focus on exploring additional revenue opportunities for CPR’s music services, CPR Classical and Indie 102.3, will become a greater priority." Whether this means a more mainstream listening experience on those services remains to be seen. Indie 102.3 in particular seems unfocused at times.
