Buzz Allen-A major force in Philadelphia Suburban radio

Buzz started his career in the 50's at WIFI and then in 1970 moved to WIBF in Jenkintown,Pa. and started a successful Big Band/Swing/Jazz format. In 1973 he left radio and became Vice President of The North Penn Valley Chamber Of Commerce in Lansdale,Pa. MIssing radio he started a Sunday evening show called "Echoes Of An Era" on WNPV,Lansdale. In 1995 he retired and he and wife Norma moved to Palm Aire,Florida outside of Ft.Lauderdale. His wife passed away in October 2021. Being a big Jazz fan Buzz attended many concerts while at WIBF. Music was a major force in his life and his Florida home was always filled with the sounds of his record collection. Buzz was 90.
