While driving through Reading on US 222, I pass a major thoroughfare called Broadcasting Road. I assume the street was so named for a connection to the 'biz'. If so, who, when, and why? Thanks!

actually Scott, WEEU has a listenable signal all the way down here at the Jersey Shore/Somers Point/Ocean City area. No Ibuzz on either side.

If you look at the signal pattern at Radio Locator you can see how much signal they throw towards the southeast.

I work a couple miles from Broadcasting Square...wonder how many folks using the shopping center know of the heritage...

Scott Fybush,

Thank you very much for the explanation. In addition, kudos to you on your website informing us on all things technical including WEEU and other broadcast info. A much needed and appreciated resource.
