The Binghamton Broadcasters Reunion is proud to announce, in conjunction with the Southern Tier Broadcasters Association and the Bundy Museum, that we will have a celebrity guest at the 2011 Reunion, slated for September 24, at the Binghamton Riverwalk Hotel.
Joining us for the dinner and the program, in a non-performing role, will be musician and singer Gary Lewis, of Gary Lewis and the Playboys, and son of comedian Jerry Lewis.
Gary Lewis has had a number of Top 40 hits during his career, and seven Top 10 singles.
The Southern Tier Broadcasters Association and the Bundy, will be awarding Gary Lewis the 2011 Special Contributor Award. Previous winners of this award have been Dick Clark, and Chubby Checker. Checker was a guest at the 2007 Reunion.
During our reunion, the STBA and the Bundy will be acknowledging the new members of the STBA Hall of Fame, which is housed at the Bundy. Many of the new members will be in attendance.
The Reunion is a free event, open to current and past Binghamton Broadcasters. On air, sales, engineering, and management.
