Bina Roy Named VP-GM Of Nexstar’s Multicast Nets

Nexstar Media today promoted Bina Roy to vice president and general manager of its multicast networks, responsible for business development and affiliate partnerships with more than 15 networks providing programming across the company’s portfolio of more than 600 subchannels.

She will also oversee efforts to maximize the use of Nexstar’s broadcast spectrum in 116 television markets across the country. She will continue reporting to Sean Compton, president of Nexstar’s Networks Division.

What Diginets does Nexstar own?? Unless they got some to settle the lawsuit against Sinclair (Which it inherited by way of the merger with Tribune, who sued Sinclair over it's shady business practices), I wasn't aware they had any 🤷‍♀️

I have seen more promos for Sports Grid than Rewind TV that Nexstar owns Antenna TV is still on WXMI FOX17 .2 I thought that Nexstar would've wanted Antenna TV since Nexstar owns it.

No, Sinclair owns TBD. As mentioned in the article, the only diginets run by Nexstar (as of now) are Antenna and Rewind.
And if they're smart, they'll add NewsNation as Digi/Streaming net & take it off cable

NewsNation has A MUCH better chance at competing against Newsy than it does the cable networks
