BBC moves CBBC & BBC Four to iPlayer & BBC News Channel (UK) & BBC World News to merge into one channel

Appears that BBC World Service will see significant cuts in its shortwave output.

And it looks like the clock is now ticking on the closure of the 198 kHz longwave transmissions.

Note the big change will coincide with the beginning of the BBC's 2023-24 fiscal year.

We should be hearing more about further BBC radio and TV changes over the next few week and months. Particularly interested in what will happen with BBC World Service radio and its distribution platforms. Also should be hearing about proposed dates for the closure of domestic BBC longwave and mediumwave transmitters.
