Needs more country stations.
LOL, RSKaz!! But when I think about it, with the thriving country scene there is just across the border in Canada, maybe having this many country stations wasn't so unusual. I'm no country music expert, but is there a great difference between Canadian country and Nashville country?

Bluenoser, is country music still as popular in Eastern Maine 41 years later?

Not really familiar with the radio market in the state (I live 2 provinces over)....but I can tell you that there is a country station over the border in Woodstock (CJCJ, part of Bell's Pure Country network; they've been country since 2020, dumping Hot AC to do so). Most other Canadian stations along the border run either AC or are CBC/SRC relays.

The difference between Canadian country and Nashville country is the definition of 'poutine.'
