AM Stereo

Not familiar with a "Greek0made"...

That's what happens when you miss a typo. The sentence was suppose to be "Greek-made ASMAX-1 C-QUAM rig", made by Aspisys. I added some compression via a dbx musician's compressor and it sounded pretty decent through all of my Sony AM stereo receivers I have in my evaluation lab.

Over on my History of Westport Connecticut Radio tribute site I have an aircheck of the Harris MW-1 transmitter running in Kahn AM stereo prior to implementing the NRSC curve and filtering. The only thing I regret with the aircheck is I should have advanced the tone control on the Sony all the way clockwise as the aircheck doesn't capture the crispness of the station's audio (and it was recorded some 20 miles away from the 1KW transmitter).

If anyone is interested I have both an SRF-A100 and SRF-42 available.

I am interested! Please send a message to me via the member e-mail system. Thanks!
