That didn't last long (just like Elliot's runs at WNYL and WNNX). KRBZ is probably making a wise move here.

I wouldn’t be shocked if we also see KRBZ revert its branding to “The Buzz” in short order. Maybe some musical tweaks as well.

Has lazlo mentioned kc much since reverting back to kc only? Also, good move. They didnt even play any music (not exaggerating) on the show. Their music has been better lately.

I recall that Mike Kaplan's role as SVP of alternative ran out at the end of 2022. His LinkedIn still has him at Audacy, but as head of brand management. No format mentioned. Ross Mahoney currently oversees KRBZ:

According to this (from July) he reports to Kevin Weatherly.

Back when these stations added Elliot, I said it was a terrible idea that lacked any imagination. Not sure that hostless music is better, but it's definitely different from what was there. Maybe the new alternative brain trust at Audacy has a plan.
