Can anyone tell me where this station came from? If you look at Radio-Locator it shows the parent station as KRXD-FM. Glancing at the website, there is a page for 107.9 The Eagle playing Classic Rock. Apparently, they're originating programming on a translator, which is a HUGE no-no. How are they doing this? Are they broadcasting KRXD or KVBX in HD and feeding 107.9 from an HD2 channel?

Who said theyre originating programming on a translator? sounds liek youre assuming that.. theyre likely feeding it with an HD2 or 3 sub channel
Except for broadcasters in houston, not many play fast and losoe with translator/HD sub rules
Yes, they are supposed to be using KRXD HD-2 McNary as the originating station
You didnt look too hard.. i just did a quick google search for "107.9 the eagle show low" and this was the 2nd result i got
