101.9 the end has, well, ended.

KENZ is stunting in preparation for a new format to debut at 12:00 today. According to iHeartRadio, KENZ is airing a weird sonic-esque sound. It's a tad bit creepy, to tell you the truth.

According to radioinsight.com, it looks likely that the station will be classic hits. Likewise, they also predict that 94.9 will flip to Alternative, and Z-Rock might be merged into 101.1.

Well, it's classic hits. "Bob and Tom" are on for mornings. Melissa Fogg is in middays, The Coach is on for afternoons, and Jared is on for nights.

First song: "Listen to the Music" by Doobie Brothers.

Isn't 94.9 switching to Alternative soon? It made no sense to have to Mainstream Rock stations owned by the same company essentially. Although one was Active Rock which I still do not know the difference. What is the difference between Active Rock and Mainstream Rock?
