100.3 Translator

There is an application to move the 100.3 translator from Rome to Cartersville. I wonder if that will cause interference with 100.5 on the northwest side of metro Atlanta.

maybe, If I was Cumulus I would start a campaign to ask listeners on the NW side of the market to complain. All it takes is several folks complaining to the FCC and the translator will have to: move, lower power, or find another channel that will not interfere with 100.5.

Disclaimer: I am not a Cumulus employee.

IMHO Cumulus's 100.5 was starting to gain traction as an alternative to 97.1. They finally took my advise* and went Classic Rock after The Regular Guys. They just had their best 6+ book in a long time 2.0 (6+).

So Cumulus has hired a new PD according to All Access, I hope he doesn't mess with the music.

* Cumulus has had WSKZ in Chattanooga for several years and finally "lifted" part of KZ's format of recognizable classic rock tunes, after I posted the Idea. I am not sure if they read any of these posts but it is funny they did "fix" 100.5 a couple of months after my post.
