WHK maintenance

During the 1:00 p.m. local newscast on WHK, on 09/11/2023, the newscaster mentioned that the station will be doing some maintenance work and, during that time, WHK programming will still be available on line. No dates or times were mentioned.

At around 1:53 p.m., "The Dennis Prager Show" was abruptly cut-off, in mid-sentence. At the time of this writing, there is dead air. The carrier/transmitter seems to be on.

Does not seem to matter that much. The station almost never shows up in the Nielsens.
They are not subscribed. And they have not been since 2019.

I don't think any of the Cleveland Salem stations are subscribed.
I think a few in other markets are, like KRYP, WFSH, KLTY, WFFH, KFIS, WFHM, KSKY, WWFE, KRLA, KFSH, KPDQ, WKGA, KPAM, KKLA, WMYM, KWRD and KTNO. They are on a case by case basis.

im sure the only two listeners WHK has, those on this board, sorely missed the station and its drivel while it was gone

I'm always reminded that what is drivel to me may be pearls and diamonds to someone else...

How costly is it to subscribe?
Depends on market size, station or cluster size. In a major market with a significant station, it can be an annual 6-figure amount.

Is there price differences for non-com and college stations?
I have no experience in that area. Hopefully another poster can give some insight.

Bob Frantz and Dennis Prager are pretty good. As is Tom Kelly on Sunday afternoon.

Dennis Prager thinks the 2020 election was stolen and even said, "There is no doubt in my mind there was cheating. I have no proof”. He's no good.

And Hillary thinks the 2016 election was stolen. There was nothing in Prager's statement claiming the election was stolen. By the way, you omitted the rest of his statement: "I only have arguments for the fact there was massive cheating. I don't know who won the election. Ok? To be honest, I don't know. But, I can't say it was honestly won and I can't say for certain it was dishonestly won."

There was no fraud, plain and simples.. thats proven and lawsuits brought to try and prove it was stolen have all been shot down
