Media Matters: Top 40 hits focus of Y100 format

Along with sister station 105.5 FM The Beat, Y100 officials says this latest move is all part of a grand scheme.

“It’s very exciting finally being able to unveil the final phase of our plan toward dominating the Southwest Florida contemporary music scene,” said Clear Channel Radio vice president Sherri Sanchez in making the announcement.

Yeah, They did so well with W35-54 with Z100 and everything since Warm 100,that they are now going to try for W18-34 and rule the world.

They couldn't even hold off running all those bonus and $5 spots for 30 days and go commercial free.

The "Y" stands for, "Y have personalities?" or is it?

Y didn't Z100 work?
Y Win?
Y have ratings?
Y not voice track?
Y can't we offer compelling radio?
