For this listener, 100 miles NNW of Philly and with a car button set to the WRTI Pottsville translator on 99.1, Bob Perkins goes out on top.
To me, shoes the size of 50 years will be a tough pair to fill.
All the best, Bob Perkins !
Back in the days when I drove a lot, I listened frequently and I always enjoyed his delivery, as well as the interesting artist tidbits he shared with us. His is a very distinctive voice, that's for sure! I fell off of terrestrial radio during my 13 years living in Philadelphia (I had gotten rid of my car, which is where I did most of my listening), but it just always kinda seemed like Bob would be there if I decided to come back. He'll be missed.
