This was a decent little NBC affiliate, hated to see them have to become an independent. They filled a definite need in the community. They remind me a little of WRDE-LD-31 in Delaware, small-town NBC affiliate, same basic idea.

The station still exists, of course, but they seem to be little more than a satellator now.
