WHN radio panel Monday, February 17 at 6:00 pm

WHN was the radio station programming country music in New York City from 1973-1987. WHN assistant program director Charlie Cook (now operations manager at Cumulus/Nashville and program director of WKDF and WSM-FM) WHN, music director Pam Green (now with Cumulus Media Networks) and I will be presenting a panel about the station with Alabama's Jeff Cook on Monday, February 17th at 6:00 pm at Two Old Hippies in The Gulch 401 12th Ave S, Nashville, TN 37203 (across from The Station Inn). It will be followed by a signing for my book "WHN: When New York City Went Country". It’s free and open to the public.
More details at http://twooldhippies.getn2.it/event/detail/1974647?fb=
Hope to see you there and please pass the word to anyone you know interested in country radio history. It should be a good networking opportunity with radio folks and some artists from the WHN era.
