What's My Line? on GSN During Holidays

Each year, during Christmas and New Years weeks, Game Show Network pulls out some old black and white shows to run at 3 a.m. ET. It's usually What's My Line? and I've Got A Secret. They're running this week and next on GSN.

Viewers who get BUZZR over the air on a subchannel or on their cable system can often see these shows. But GSN tries not to run much from this era, especially black and white shows. Sure, many of them are on You Tube as well. But it's still fun to catch these old shows when the panelists were as interesting as the guests, and the Broadway Theater was as important a source of pop culture as movies and TV!

Something else that's interesting to see with "What's My Line?" is the appearance of pro athletes as mystery guests. For much of the show's run, the only sports stars that were considered big enough names to be mystery guests were baseball players and boxers, and maybe jockeys.
