What Were These People Thinking?

The Halifax Christian Community Church which operates station WFBO-LP, in Flagler Beach, Florida used an unlicensed TX to provide fill-in coverage that was over 900 times the limit for Part-15 FM use.

When FCC agents go to the station to investigate they find that the station itself has been operating at 106 watts when it was licensed for 36 watts and was using the wrong antenna. The station manager admitted that he knew they were breaking the law. The church was ultimately fined $8100.00.

So just what are these people thinking? That God is somehow going to miraculously shield them from the consequences of willfully breaking the law?

I've got news for them, He isn't (Romans 13:3-4).

The Halifax Christian Community Church may have have thought if the mega broadcasters did not have to play by the rules, they didn't either.

They should have read our post about two sets of rules; One for the big boys and another for the little guy!
