I have Milburn's "One Scotch...." in my collection. Never heard Hooker's version. Don't have "Chicken Shack...", but agree that its a great cut. In somewhat the same vein, there's Peppermint Harris' "I Got Loaded". Don't have that one, either, but I do have a hilarious remake of it from the early 90s by Benny Grunch (a New Orleans musician with a great sense of humor) called, "I bought Presents". (Its about a guy who just shows up in stores with a credit card, detaches himself from reality, and just keeps buying stuff....disregarding the "hangover" that will come when the bill shows up.)
