WFAA remote studio

Belo announced that they're building a remote TV studio for Ch 8 inside the AA Center (probably already noted on here,) and latest word now is that they'll be bringing back the old "Sump'n Else" dance show! Ron Chapman will host again, complete with all the old "Little Group" dancers returning, and extra room will be made on the dance floor to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers, and paramedics will be on hand to handle the "I've fallen and I can't get up" cases. Only members of the classes of 1965-68 will be admitted. Here's the daily lineup:

Mondays-house band Kenny and the Kasuals (now renamed "Gerry and the Geritols") playing the hits of the day: "I Got Around," "(I'm in the autumn of my) Summer in the City," "Wouldn't it be Nice (to breathe without a machine)", "Working My Way Back to You (but very slowly)", and "Only Love (and cholesterol buildup) Can Break a Heart."

Tuesdays-The Two Tops (since the other 2 are dead now) playing "The Ben-Gay Bop", sponsored by Fed Mart

Wednesdays-Joey Dee and the Starlighter host "The Linament Twist", sponsored by Spartan-Atlantic stores

Thursdays-The Southwest F.O.B. (featuring none of the original band members) host the "Levitra Limbo"; Joanie Prather will re-create her old commercials and do readings from old "Eight is Enough" scripts

Fridays-Psychedelic Friday/"Go Ask (ci-)Alice" (starring Eddie Hubbard and someone named "Polident Polly"), sponsored by Sanger-Harris

Ed, care to add more?!?

Never knew Bud worked at 8. I know he was at 4 for about 20 years.
