One new station so far today...

95.1- WVLI- Kankakee, IL- 'The Valley'- Heard with local weather forecast and call letter mentions. NEW #720

And several decent relogs, but here are the best ones...

92.7- WKIF- Kankakee, IL- CNN News
93.5- WKHY- Lafayette, IN- 93-5 KHY
93.7- WTRX- Pontiac, IL- Heard with (309) area code and Bloomington mentions.
105.3- WKOA- Lafayette, IN- Country- Probably the best i've ever heard this.

The weather conditions are pretty stagnent today, so I expect these conditions to continue throughout the day, but I gotta run some errands now, so i'll tend to the tropo some more this afternoon.<P ID="signature">______________

That's pretty cool that you were able to get WKFR, WQLR and WVIC. Have you tried for WNWN 98.5? They're a Country station from my town and I grew up practically right next to their tower. The next time you're hearing West Michigan stations, you should try for this one. <P ID="signature">______________

I get country on 98.5 a lot. There is also a country station on 98.5 in Rockford, IL so it probably crosses between the two. I usually don't stay to see which station it is.

WKFR and especially WQLR are regulars. WVIC is only an occational one. West Michigan DX is by far the most common over here.<P ID="signature">______________

Is WNWN's tower still where it was. I used to get them (as

WNWN's tower is in extreme northern Branch County. They've 'moved' up to Battle Creek, but they are still very well known as 'The Coldwater station' by the locals.

Also, to Jeremy. One thing to listen for on WNWN is that they pitch their music up. They also have quiet processing, so it's not overly loud, but it's not like NPR processing either.<P ID="signature">______________
