I've recently started working in Coppell and noticed at 3-tower array on the north side of LBJ near Freeport Parkway. Whose is this? I'm guessing it's an AM array....

The Original site was Grapevine which was moved in '70 to build the airport. It was a 4 tower site, three for 570 and one for 820. They were moved to Northlake where it was a three tower array. Three for 570 while the middle tower doubled for 820. It was an invention the Belo boys had to try. Later the 820 was moved to Mansfield where it remains. The Northlake site was purchased (or leased) from Texas Power and Light.
Thanks for the input
