The Odyssey (Italian series) ever on US television?

The "classic" thread seems appropriate...

There's an old adaptation of The Odyssey, an Italian-Yugoslavian coproduction shot on film. I only know it to've been shown in Canada late 70s early 80s - a pity because it was probably as good as it could ever be done.

Basically I wanted to ask: was this not shown anywhere else in North-America? It isn't hard to find in Italian, but I'd love to find the English dubbed version somehow.
