Storms affect radio stations

During this mornings nasty storms WATR's 97.7 translator was down for a few hours. When I noticed them back on just before 9:30AM they were suffering a lot of digital breakup like a bad internet connection. This afternoon most of the digital break up is gone, but there are still what I call digital burps from time to time.

WPRX 1120-AM was off the air for a while too, though that doesn't surprise me as their tower is on Sherbrooke Street in Bristol and Bristol was one of the hardest hit areas by power outages this morning.
