Folks on this board will yap about how bad the radio biz is these days. I'm one of them. One of the best things to do is subscribe to XM or Sirius. Or both. This is the best way to fight the bigs like CC & CBS. It can only make radio better. More players is better for the radio biz. Listeners & talent.

$13 a month is nothing. If you can't find $ 13 bucks, try picking up some soda cans and returning them at your nearest supermarket.

I ... don't understand.

If you want to make Wal-Mart better, you go shop at Target? You'd do better by writing a letter to an executive at company X and hope they read it. At least that way they at least have some idea they've lost a customer.

I think competition with other media and with itself is the reason radio has had to cut back on things like personalities and fresh promotions.

(I'll add that what little I've heard of XM and Sirius is no better than terrestrial radio)

I come from a place where there is no deposit on pop cans and bottles, but there's still the beer cans and bottles.
Plenty in the park thrown around on the long week end...
13 dollars is still alot of money to me. There's also tax on that. Thanks for offering me the free XM radio though.
