I hear that Belo is getting so nasty about the way they are spending money (or lack thereof) that Belo is going to sell Reunion Tower in Dallas, TX.

How can Belo be so cheap?

Since Reunion Tower is completely surrounded by the Hyatt Regency Hotel (its owned only partially by Belo), it would be a neat trick if Belo sold it. Selling their portion, maybe.

In answer to your question, it's easy. They're Belo. Belo(w) average, belo(w) expectations. How far they have slid from their glory days of a little over 20 years ago...

Didnt Belo have a radio station up in the tower at one time?

Belo Didn't but the old "beautiful Music format"of KOAX did.It wasthe last of an era when Tower landmarks"had stations. The Tower of the Americas in San Antonio housed the old KQXT(same format as KOAX) for many years.
