Podcasting royalties

I know how royalties work with streaming, but what about podcasting. Let's say I came up with a 5 minute feature that had one copyrighted song, or a Top 10 of (whatever year)?
 
use podcast safe music or royalty free music. a lot of unsigned artists are very supportive of podcasts as it's free exposure for them. check out unsigned.com for a vast array of different genres
 
Where to find out how much you will owe in royalties. I don't mind paying, but I can't find the info on how to do that?
