Blaqk Audio is really interesting, I'm liking the album a lot. You can see that this sound was starting to sneak into the last AFI record.

I'm really happy that Silverchair is back on the Alternative charts. They're a great band and deserve all the attention they get. They've come a long way from "baby Nirvana."

Social Distortion is always a great touch to an alternative playlist

The new Bravery record is boring.

Against Me! is probably one of the most important bands out there on today's scene. Red state stations probably won't add this, which is a shame.

The Academy Is...could have been big but the record just doesn't have the songs. Neighbors is decent, but doesn't top anything off their last album.

A few other things to talk about:

Will the new H.I.M. single make them as big in the States as they are in Europe?

What does everyone think of the new Foo Fighters track?

I think the Foo Fighters track is, good but nothing surpassing anything else they have done in career.
I haven't heard the new HIM song yet.

Funny, they just e-mailed me, today. I think i am going to add them.

Agreed... there were probably five or six songs on the last album that were better than "The Pretender", and only one of them was a legit hit. I'm a huge Foo fan, but I think a lot of stations will jump off this track when they start getting research on it.

Doubtful. The Foos are one of the few handful of "alternative" artists that are a sure-thing with almost any audience, whether you be a blue or red alt. rocker. Few other examples include: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nine Inch Nails, Linkin Park, Green Day and.........that's about it.

New Foo Fighters is good, not their best. I agree they are one of the only few alt / rock artists that brings it every album. Stuff I'm digging on.....Cold War Kids, The Coup "My Favorite Mutiny", Mark Ronson, Battles, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Mew, !!!, Tegan and Sara, New Pornographers, Bedouin Soundclash, Flight of the Conchords, 1990's

Walls Fall Down by Bedouin Soundclash is such a great track.

yes, i saw them at warped tour they were great!

I've been pushing HIM for a good five-six years now. They did a cover of Chris Issac's "Wicked Game" that got me hooked.

You're right about MxPx,I'm not that crazy about 'em but listeners love them.

I always thought TINC would break big,but it's never happened. I don't even know if they're still together.

Our god awful piece of redneck white trash so called alt station wlrs doesn't play but maybe 2 of those songs. ???

I hear ya. WRTT would only play the new Foo Fighters song out of the other songs that were mention earlier. Of course, they're active rock so you have to have really low expectations for them to play anything new. Even so, it will more likely be by a mainstream/well-established artist or band.
