New Infinity Streamers Today...Include WCKG/Chicago

...in addition to the previously announced talk WJFK/Washington, big time sports station WIP/Philadelphia also streams starting today. So, that got me to wonder about other Infinity hot talk (and sports) stations taking the Internet plunge, since they launched the streaming news and news/talkers on the same day.

And sure enough, WCKG/105.9 Chicago is on the list, though for now, it appears possibly limited to its afternoon drive show with market legend Steve Dahl. It starts today, like the WJFK streaming.

WJFK's streaming is now promoted on its homepage, and it appears for now, they will only stream WJFK's locally-produced programming, including WW1 syndicated duo Don & Mike, middayers The Junkies, and night team Ron & Fez. The station's main web page has these shows listed, and they're the only shows that have a speaker icon on their schedule listings...indicating streaming. There are no icons next to Howard Stern, Bill O'Reilly or Loveline.

A quick check of websites for Infinity hot talkers KLSX/Los Angeles and WKRK/Detroit show no streaming mentions on their front pages. In sports, I checked KHTK/Sacramento, and ditto, though obviously their midday show (D&M) will stream via WJFK starting later today.

Great update OA -- thanks for the info! Steve Dahl fans should be happy with that news, as will Ron & Fez fans (since it hadn't been for sure announced about them, from what I understood, if they would be streamed).
______________

While WKRK wasn't pumping it on their front page earlier today, it is now prominently displayed...and they are on the RadioMat list:

Very interesting -- that should make it easy to get them all lined up. I hope to create a list for RadioHotTalk.com this weekend of the Hot Talkers out there that stream. Thanks for the info.
______________
